The Get Wet Beach Bar is nestled under the trees in the shopping district of downtown Philipsburg, Sint maarten on the beautiful Boardwalk of Great Bay beach.  Next door to the historic Passagrahan Hotel, Get Wet is ideally located within a 5 minute walk to the cruise ship tender docks. From the outdoor deck, we have the most beautiful view of the busy ship harbour and turquoise sea. Almond, Coconut and Genip trees provide a canopy of shade to chill out and a family of "sugar birds" hang there and provide hours of entertainment with their antics.  The excited chirps and long line-ups for the hanging brown sugar feeder is positive proof that sugar is addicting!  Get Wet is a scenic and friendly atmosphere which attracts a culturally diverse group of customers.  It's a popular meeting place for tourists, crew from the many ships and also the local  people, the ones who call SXM home.
 
 
When we think about all the love stories that began at Get Wet we wonder if Cupid hangs out here incognito.  If the trees could talk they would share many, many stories of love, friendship and the good times enjoyed here.  By the way all of you honeymooners, come by for 2 free shooters.  We'll be happy to celebrate with you. And besides, the sunsets are truly amazing here. 
 
The food at Get Wet Beach Bar is something to talk about.  We serve up great BBQ burgers, island-style ribs, chicken, salads and paninis.  We also feature a Canadian dish called Poutine which is crispy french fries topped with grated cheese melted under hot brown gravy.  Our Caribbean cook makes a homemade Fish Soup which is a delicious creamy blend of locally caught fish, fresh vegetables and herbs.  The best deals on the beach are right here at our bar.  Where else can you get a BBQ Hot Dog and crispy fries for only $3?  How about a cold beer, eh? On the beach in front of the bar we have beach chair rentals for $5 a day. Add an additional $5 for a frozen Guavaberry Colada and you're "livin the life" in paradise. We have the sun and the beach, we have the shady deck, we have great food and an unforgetable atmosphere. We really think that you should come see for yourself.
